long time, no see...

As you might have noticed, t's been a while since I last posted ...

A lot's been changing: I'm back to university, moved to Essen (horrible city btw.) and finally I also have internet again!

Also, there's something I wanted to let you know:
Since I went back to university, most of my time is being consumed by homework, studying and so on. That's why ParaNoire Design's shop will be in "standby-mode" from October 2009 until further notice.

I'll still accept orders of in-stock items (please pay attention to the article descriptions for further information), but unfortunately I'll have to cut back on my custom orders because my studies are top-priority and very time-consuming. They will only be accepted in limited quantities - please mail me ( info at paranoire-design.com ) if you're interested in an item that's not currently available!

I deeply appreciate your understanding and hope to be able to upload new items soon!

All the best,
Eva

ADRIENNE II - Steampunk Variation

This is a cute steampunk-ensemble that I came up with. The skirt is a variation of the forementioned ADRIENNE pattern, the KAMELIA cape is a completely new design. I myself LOVE the tartan lining!

Both garments pictured are available for sale (size 36), and I will happily accept commissions! Any colour combinations, fabrics and sizes are possible!

Please contact info@paranoire-design.com for details

ADRIENNE - dramatic trained skirt

A great skirt design for the more dramatic purposes (evening wear, costuming or even a wedding)! Lots of Belle Epoque inspirations are knit together to create this garment: high waist, floor length, a train and the rustling sound of luxurious Taffeta fabric.

size 36 (pictured) is currently for sale
any other sizes, colors, fabrics upon request

contact info@paranoire-design.com for commissions

Bedsheet Upcycling

In order to survive the current heatwave, I made this cute dress for myself using old bedsheets and some ivory satin leftovers for the piping.

I'd really love to take a ride in the boat behind me, too :)

be careful what you wish for...

I might as well do what I'm told. AURELIE - a rather unusual color combination was asked for and I'm happy to please my customers.

I may accept your own fabric for making a garment (provided it's suitable) and you will even receive a few percent off the retail price.

slightly steamy waistcoat

I rarely create anything for myself but this turn-of-the-century inspired vest was definitely a must-do on my list. It was also a chance to use up a few of my beloved leftover fabrics and the pattern mix actually adds to this style.

It has three welt pockets (including one for my pocket watch of course!), a faux leather collar and all natural vintage buttons made of wood and ivory nut.

This vest is one of a kind, but if you're interested in a similar garment, feel free to contact me.
